The Grinnell League of Women Voters is hosting a forum featuring candidates seeking election to city offices during the Nov. 2nd election. The forum will take place beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20th via Zoom. Virtual attendance is open to all but registration is required.

Looking for a new place to trick or treat? Stop by Ahrens Park and see all of the decorated trunks/tents on Saturday, October 23rd. You will be able to walk as a family from spot to spot in the large parking lot anytime between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. This event is free and open to all families of Grinnell and the surrounding area. It is brought to you by the Ahrens Park Foundation, the Claude W. & Dolly Ahrens Foundation, LINK, and the Grinnell Parks & Recreation department. Any businesses interested in reserving a parking spot should contact the Grinnell Parks & Recreation Department at 641-236-2620.

Grinnell's city-wide Trick-or-Treat night will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31st. Keep an eye out for little ghosts and goblins when you are out that evening. Leave your porch light on if you have treats to share.
